What’s new
Meet the redesigned Luminar Neo
This build introduces the first stage of a major redesign of Luminar Neo — a completely reworked navigation and app structure. It's more than a visual refresh: the new architecture lays the foundation for the functional updates coming later this year.
What's changed:
- Catalog and Edit are now one space. No more switching between separate modes — Presets, Tools, and Edit now sit next to each other in a single panel on the right, which you can open and close at any time without leaving your photos.
- New navigation. Breadcrumbs with your current folder and photo, browser-like back/forward arrows, and the catalog panel can now be hidden to give your photos more room on screen.
- Restructured right sidebar with five entry points: Presets, Tools, Edit, Info (EXIF), and Extra (Generative Erase/Swap/Expand / Upscale / Merge / Panorama etc).
- Faster Presets. Preset browsing and application got a noticeable performance boost in this build.
- Everything one click away. Your account is now part of the left sidebar, Education gathers guides and guided tutorials in one place, and the new full-screen Creative Library makes browsing assets much more comfortable.
This release focuses on navigation and structure. Bigger functional updates — including a reworked approach to Masking and Presets — are planned for the fall release; we'll share more details closer to that time.
